First-Light USA is excited to announce the addition of Ken Shubert as the new Vice President of Sales for the tactical flashlight manufacturer. Ken has served for over 27 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and is currently a Colonel serving as an Engineer Brigade Commander. In his duties as VP of Sales, Ken will be responsible for the vision and strategy for sales growth of all First-Light USA products and lines of business. He will work closely with executive leadership, engineering, marketing, and customers to drive revenue.
According to CEO David O’Malley, “Ken’s background and skillset make him uniquely qualified to lead the First-Light USA sales efforts as we expand our product line, bringing new and innovative lighting tools to Warfighters. We’re going to lean on him heavily to ensure we’re delivering the right lighting solutions to the right people.”
Ken holds a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and an MBA from UIUC, along with an MSS in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. Originally from Chicago, IL, Ken lives in northeast Ohio with his wife and two children and enjoys woodworking and homesteading in his leisure time.
