Our lights are factory-shipped in Lockout Mode. To unlock and enter Ready Mode, press and hold the two small buttons on your light simultaneously and then release. The green “unlock” indicator will illuminate briefly to indicate Ready Mode.

(The Lockout Mode setting can also be used to prevent accidental illumination.)

First-Light’s proprietary mix of red and green LEDs operate at the appropriate wave-length and brightness, to better “highlight” the color red, especially blood while subduing other colors (and fluids) when compared to using blue, red, green or white light alone.

It is not possible to specify LED task light colors beyond those currently offered. The Tomahawk Task Light is available in blue or ultra-violet (UV), while the integrated task light on the Liberator STT is available in red or white.
